Fifth Avenue was established in December 1990 with thirteen pool tables, steel tipped darts, and a dedicated staff of the highest caliber.

In late 1995, we opened a 2nd floor thus doubling our square footage.  We added seven pool tables and a larger bar and service area to accommodate live music.

Since 1995, we have been the standard bearer for night clubs in the nation; catering to blues, roots, and billiards.  In the future we strive only to improve in quality and service to our patrons.

From 1993, we have been voted the best pool hall in metro Detroit by The Metro Times and Detroit Monthly magazines, without interruption.

We are unique in the night-life experience, without compromising quality.

- We offer pool without seedy characters and cigar smoke.
- We have good food, and great music, in a mature club setting.

Our philosophy has always been to "give the people a good drink for an honest price".  We like to keep things very simple, classy, and consistent.  And, because there is very little turnover of staff, you will always see a familiar face.
